This year's theme, Building Bridges, captures the spirit of OEE's work and mission - connecting people, ideas and communities to promote Colorado prosperity. The event will highlight and celebrate the partnerships, skills, and shared insights that move us forward.
The full PRU schedule and details on general sessions as well as additional breakout sessions will be shared in August. See the initial agenda below and watch for updates on the Annual Forum page.
Monday, October 5
Our event will begin on Monday with PRU and team meetings, including the Horticulture, Health and 4-H PRUs, Emergency Management Team, and CAE4-HYA Banquet in the evening.
Tuesday, October 6
Extension faculty will gather for the annual in-person faculty meeting early in the morning. The remainder of Tuesday is dedicated to OEE-wide programming and celebration. Join us starting at 9:30 am for speakers and workshops as well as the annual awards and recognition luncheon. Chancellor Tony Frank will deliver our keynote address on CSU's Engagement mission in the afternoon. Optionally, meet us at Avo's for the 4th annual Storytelling event in the evening.
Wednesday, October 7
The morning will start with an all-staff professional development session The Field-Campus Networking Summit Luncheon will be held Wednesday, October 7, 12:00-1:30 pm in Lory Student Center Theatre. This event welcomes faculty and staff from across campus and Extension who are interested in community-engaged, interdisciplinary work and brings together the first and second cohorts of the OEE Field-Campus Seed Initiative and the inaugural cohort of the Sustainable Rural Futures Seed Grant. (RSVP required, space is limited) Others will have lunch on your own
Additional PRU (Agriculture and Food Systems) and team meetings are planned for the afternoon, and for those involved with conducting the Extension Community Needs Assessment, stop at the open house at 1:30 to ask questions and share your experiences.
Join us for the annual Extension Intern Poster Session and mixer on 4:30-6:30 pm in Lory Student Center Theatre. Extension interns spent the summer working on applied research projects throughout Colorado. Connect with our interns and mentors while learning about their summer experiences and impacts of the Extension Internship Program.
The CCAA and CEAFCS Associations will host their annual banquet in the evening.
Thursday, October 8
The final morning will be dedicated to break out sessions, PRU and team meetings, including Natural Resources and Community and Economic Development PRUs.
